I remember about 25 years ago someone had a scale model of a RR Merlin at the model engineer exhibtion, the problem was that he couldn't scale the supercharger so he had to run normally aspirated.

PS has anyone ever come across a real live Merlin? I have and they are the smallest, scruffiest most insignifcant bird of prey going and by Christ what a legacy!!
