Just a short post to introduce myself as a new TVR owner/driver.

Bought a Silver Chimaera 4.0 1998 and took delivery on the 17th Jan.

The dealer was outstanding and could not do enough for me.

I promised myself one for my 30th last Jan but couldn't quite afford it. Feeling sorry for me, my wife then went out and bought model Chim for a present and that has sat on the TV for 12 months and thoroughly p***ed me off each night sitting looking at it! The thought was nice however the reality is far better

So I bought one for my 31st instead.

Just need some sunny weather now ....

Cheers

Welcome and congratulations. My first TVR was a Chim also. Loved it to bits, used as an everyday car. Smashing.

By the way, I note you come from West Yorkshire. We are having a combined North West/Yorks meet this Sunday in the Peak District. Why not come along and show off your new baby?

Hello!

I'll keep an eye out for you, I'm also in Yorkshire.

PS: A few of us are meeting up on Sunday for a run out, you'd be very welcome to join us. Have a look in the 'Events' and 'Yorkshire' forum for more details.

Cheers for all your warm support.

I'll post a picture over the weekend.

Not sure that I can make this weekend's drive, however I'm sure you'll see me soon!

Chim Girl - not spotted you around Leeds yet? I live north side on the way out to Harrogate.

Cheers

Welcome Adam, it's brilliant on here. All you could wish for. And as for driving - as you're near Harrogate why not set off over blubberhouses - great run and it just gets better the closer to Lancashire you get heh heh. Wish I was going too though on the combined run at weekend. Will all you lovely people arrange another one later please.

Cheers

Mike
