I'm not even a dog person, but this story annoys me.

Thieves have ransacked a dogs' home on Merseyside, leaving just enough supplies for the next few days.

At least 20 sacks of food and 15 trays of meat were stolen from the Dogs' Trust in Whiston Lane, Huyton.

Staff are appealing for people to donate tins to keep them going over the Christmas period.

Assistant manager Cathy Stulberg said it could not have happened at a worse time; one of their busiest periods of the year.

She said: "The manager was doing her normal check round, went to the food room and disturbed what we think was a gang.

"They had broken into the shed and taken the hinges off.

"We don't have a lot left and we have 100 hungry mouths to feed.

I would quite happily set fire to the bds. These asshole's are typical of the mindless chav scum running amock in this rapidly declining cess pit that used to be the greatest country on earth.

I know that stealing from dogs is way down the crime scale but surely anyone with a heart, some morals and a consience couldn't sleep at night knowing those mostly loving and loyal animals may not have enough food.

I have this same (perhaps irrational) thought whenever I see a keyed car or hear about some random house breaking/animal attack- why not just kill them? They obviously don't give a st about anyone and are completely amoral, so why not just shoot them in the face?

I am firmly against the death sentence for murder

But for serial scrotes I firmly believe that after ten convictions then round the back of the court and a bullet to the head

And if these are decisions the government came up with while drunk, I'd happily get a round or two in to help keep them rat-arsed all year round.

The heartwarming news about this is that locals have all been to the rescue centre and dropped off supplies for them
