I have recently aquired a Rally car complete with MSA Logbook. The V5 arrived in the post today and had me thinking. Do I have to declare the change of ownership and/or capacity, colour etc to the M.S.A as well?

May be a daft question but this is the first proper competition car I have owned and I'm planning a few changes.

Your answers should be found here

I know my MSA log book has a photo of the car on it so if you chaneg the colour I think you will need to get a new one, your local scrutineer would be the person to ask though

Thread resurrection.

I'm in a similar position but I can't find the relevant information.

The Blue book says I need to send my CCLB back to the MSA but I'm buggered if I can find an address or a form or a cost or anything.

Can anyone point me towards a current link that will point me in the right direction.

Cheers,

Bob

And to answer my own question, there is a link on the MSA website but it doesn't work on a MAC which is why despite searching last night I couldn't find anything on it.

although for added comedy incompetence, the change of owner form asks you to post it to the address below...... and there isn't one.....and it turns out this information is incorrect anyway.......

After phoning them this morning, you don't need the form from the website, you just need to stick your CCLB in the post to them with a cover letter with the new keepers details. In my case, I have also changed the bonnet colour so they advised me to stick in a new photo as well and they'll update it and send it back. No Stamp addressed envelope required, they'll return it for free.
