Probably not *that* unique, in that I imagine many would have done the same, but nonetheless- well done that man. It would've been fking freezing by 11. Proof that not all somalians are pirates/warlords and that not all taxi drivers are pricks... unless they abandon their car in front of me! biggrin

Fair play and puts in perspective the folks who have had their Christmas "ruined" because they couldn't get to Bluewater or wherever.

That said, if you grew up in Mogadishu I suspect you'd simply laugh at the "treacherous" conditions out there on the roads.

saw this the other day - good stuff.

Basingstoke was one of the worst affected places down south with abandoned cars everywhere from what i read.
