lol, I remember as a kid I used to wait until I heard my mum go to bed, wait about 45mins for her to drop off to sleep and then creep into her room and set the clock forward to about 6:30am, same with downstairs etc.

Then I would run into her room shouting Merry Christmas and wake her up. She would of course do the "I don't feel like I have slept at all" line but me pointing at the clock confirmed the time for her :P

I did tell her after all my presents were open though! Took the bking, and then had a whole day to play!

By the time I was 17 or 18 though I would go to bed with the intention of an early rise but have never managed to get up before mid-day! (work this year though frown )

I've not slept. Should be getting up in 30 mins, gotta hide parents' presents under the tree before they get up.

My 5 month old any got us up at 3.30am for one of his night time feeds. He went back to sleep but i'm still awake. I put it down to my cold but who knows? I'm sat ripping my cd's to mp3 to go onto a flashdrive cos there's not much you can do at this time of day when everyone else is sleeping!

Both Half-Pints mk1 (21 months) and mk2 (6 weeks) are still sleeping like babies.

And the only reason I'm up is because Mrs Pints has risen for an early shower to get the house in order before the rest of the family arrive in 3 hours. FFS!

The baby woke me for milk at 05:30 and I haven't managed to drop back off to sleep since in anticipation of the 5yo waking up... which he still hasn't (I'm amazed).

0630 here, though I was already awake.

(Note to self.........Remember Father Xmas is NOT to deliver any musical instruments next year. The neighbours don't appreciate it at this time of day)

Happy Xmas everyone smile
