Guys
You will recall that we organised our first meeting in 2009 am hoping to plan a further event in the summer of 2010. On this occasion it will be a full blown event not just a meeting. We hope to be able to get about 3-400 exhibitors and trade stands.

Can some of you from the different clubs let me know of any significant club dates already fixed for next year? We wont be able to avoid every clash, but we would be keen to avoid any major annual meetings etc.

If anyone wants to offer to help as a marshall etc please private me on psantoni@btinternet.com This is a non profit making venture and is ONLY done to get Italian cars bikes and enthusiasts together.

We haven't finalised a venue yet, It could be Hopetoun house again near Edinburgh or possibly elsewhere in central Scotland. We have some preliminary meetings scheduled in the new year to start making plans.

All the best for the coming new year
Paul

Scottish Italian Car Day is usually the last Sunday in May, but we'd need to confirm that with AROC the events organisers.
Why the change to earlier in the year than last year?

AROc event is on 30th May so ont be conflicting with that.
Also Autoitalia is 6th June and is meant to be clebrating 100 years of Alfa. Are there many Scottish guys going to that?
We are just suggesting dates. May, could be a problem as scotthish motor show on 22/23rd and Alford in Aberdeen the 16th

Any other conflicts?

Alot of Italian car events this year will be clebrating the Alfa centenary which is officially the 26/27th June for the celebrations in Milan.
Lots of folk heading over for that but will likely be things happening on those dates in the UK too.
Depending on the location and dates of other national events, they do attract a few owners from up here though, so best to avoid coinciding with the big ones anyway.
Last year with this being held in August it avoided all the other big Italian car days quite well I thought.
