Had a problem with our Clio (2005 1.2 extreame) so had it diagnosed at the local garage as an Oxygen sensor. I have fitted a new one but the light on the dash is still on and when left to tick over will start running rough, when driving it seems fine with no misfire etc.
Any idea on how to fix this problem please?

Find a garage competent in diagnosing problems ! assuming of course you've installed the sensor correctly if that was the problem.

Thanks, but the problem was defo' the Lambo sensor which I have replaced now correctly. It seems I need to reset the management codes as the new sensor is reading the old sensor code. Anyone tell me how to reset please.

A lot of cars need plugging into a fault reader to clear the codes

Many cars just disconnect the battery for a while. But most shouldnt need cleared after a simple problem like a lambda sensor.
