Saw it this afternoon and have to say it is rather a good film, entertaining, fun, you dont think it is overlong even though it is over 2hrs.

The wife and I certainly think it is GR's best film since Lock, Stock.

But give the characters different names and would you still think it was a Sherlock Holmes film?

The bare knuckle boxing is the most ridiculous part, typical Ritchie. Boxing is only ever mentioned once in the books by someone else and Holmes always says he is a master in a Japanese combat technique with a stick/sword called Baritsu.
