In a muderously slow queue down the eastbound slip-road off the A40 at Greenford one morning, I watched a bloke stick the nose of his Ferrari into what he thought was a third lane and accelerate very hard into the bus stop.

No one was hurt and nothing was damaged during the making of this anecdote other than the twitosi himself being embarrassed to Face Palm 6.

Classic one.

I have a few incidents for this thread, none of which match the Ferrari driver, but one at least involves a Ferrari:

1) a visitor at one of my old places of work walked up to an open glass sliding door, then closed the glass door, then walked into it. 10 points for effort.

2) a guy I was working with was standing on a table, with the top of his head about an inch from the ceiling, trying to see if there was a hole in the wall above some cable trunking running about a half an inch below the ceiling. He could not quite see over the top of the trunking, so he jumped upwards. Donk!

3) A friend of mine was driving an F355 Spider belonging to a friend of his. He unintentionally went the wrong way up a one way street (in a town he knows well!) then realised his mistake at around the time he saw two lanes of traffic coming towards him. He had to do a (more than) 3 point turn in front of them while they waited. He had the roof down at the time.

roflForward planning at its best.

About 2 weeks ago i watched a couple having a massive arguement in the local multistorey carpark about the womans parking, she had reversed in and stopped about a meter from the wall, bloke grabs the keys from her storms to the car and promptly reverses it into the wall at a fair old lick. biggrin Brilliant, as i left he was telling her it as her fault for having her seat so far forward.

Comedy Gold.

I saw a girl who as being removed from a bar for drunken arsing about, slip out of the large bouncer's grasp and make a break for the terrace...straight into a glass door. She bounced off with a loud 'BONG' and collapsed in a heap on the floor. How we laughed!

Walking through Lakeside Shopping Centre a few months ago I saw a rather plump woman wearing some tight combat style trousers in a bright white colour scheme walking towards me.........only to see it was the wrong day of the month for her and she had failed in her "lady plumbing" duties as she got closer hurl

Every day as people think they can beat the beeping sound of the doors closing on the tube and then usually get whacked in the head/arse by the door closing and for added effect is the ones that get an arm trapped and the bag on the outside of the tube.

Oh for waiting that extra minute for the the next tube instead of trying to get the one wanting to leave.

Years ago.
There used to be a local fun day called Cockwood Harbour revels (Cockwood near Starcross). The day involved much food and drink, and loads of messing about in the mud and water. Great fun !
One year, the tide had come in enough for small boats to get afloat, and out under the railway bridge, onto the river Exe. Enter two poseurs, talking loudly about some great water skiing, and generally showing off. The pair of them step into a really smart speed boat, to much jealousy from spectators. After a bit of messing about, dragging the boat a short distance back into the water, they decide they have enough attention to make their exit. One of the guys puts the keys in, and presses the ignition button. The 200bhp Mercury outboard, barked into life, and fired them about 15 feet forward, out of the water, and up the ramp to the railway track hehe

Somehow, it had been left in gear, and somehow, the inhibitor switch preventing it being started in gear, was faulty.

Both blokes ended up in the back of the boat, with their legs in the air, and it took them sometime to get back to their feet. They then had to drag the boat back off the wall, back into the water, with something like 400 people laughing their heads off at them hehe

I felt for them really.............. hehe

Some years back watching a tight rope walker on a TV show - can't remember whos show it was? He kept falling off and climbing back on the wire, eventually catching his knackers, this was maximum FAIL and one of the funniest things I've seen. Very embarrassing for the tight rope walker.
