electric water pump
Discussion
I shall be running a CSI pump on my next car, all reports I have had are good, well worth the money, and they do every replacment part, so you can strip it down and replace the mechanical Seal, or just the motor etc. I will be carrying a Spare Motor unit when I do long trips, but that just me being over carful..
Lets face it better for traffic jams, turn off engine and keep the pump running for 2 Minutes. Also full flow on tickover helps while ordinary pump is strugelling to pump enough, for those hot days.

Why do you think you want/need one?
From my time on the Chevytalk forum I have seen very little about electric pumps so they are not a 'must have' for the chevy engine.
It seems to me that they may help at idle in trafic but hinder when on the run.
If you are concerned about engine bay temp. on a GTR then I think money will be better spent with heat reducing measures like header coatings.
