Hello chaps,

I've a friend who has a son who kerbed his Subaru in the kak weather the other night and has trashed the NSF wheel and the suspension etc.
The AA won't recover him because "its not broken down" or at least thats what I'm being told.
I have a dolly but you can't put these on Dollys as they are 4wd, so does anyone have a car trailer I can borrow for a couple of hours to get his Subaru from Loughborough to Kegworth (about 9 miles) so he can start work on it

There is obviously a few quid in it just for the loan.

Who me ?

Can't help you on the trailer ,but do know that AA consider ANYTHING that can be classed as accident as chargeable ( with C) (CIRCA £100 and I seem to remember that there's a distance limit(something like 10 miles) .Their way of thinking is that you can reclaim it from insurance ( so why shouldn't they cash inidea ).
