Same old story

Left the Nob out on my drive over Christmas while I used the garage for some festive carpentry. (new kitchen). Warmed it up after the snow had melted and found the drivers footwell literally was a well!
Any suggestions how the melted snow got in? The car hadn't been driven so not the usual floor pan leak.

probably came in where the window seals with the body

Bad news bernhund ......... Might be worth getting the hose on it to see if you can see where it is getting in .

Around the area of the bottom of the heater box there's a chassis rail. Mine used to run in at that joint.

hello i had the same problem last year and was convinced the heater matrix was leaking so i bypassed it in the engine bay.....the problem was still there tho after i washed the car one day, i can only think its finding its way in around the windsreen seal, i just live with the problem now. i dont drive in the rain and when i wash it i dont mess about to much near the windscreen with water.

I've got a double garage and quite a good plot compared to my neighbours (8 Alms houses). Being the generous chap that I am, I let the Alms house people shove all sorts of things in one half of the garage. Then when I need the space to do a bit of work I've got no space left, so the Nob gets relegated to outside. DOH!
Put these words in the correct order 'Foot myself shoot the in'.
Might treat myself to a car cover in the new year. AND PUT ALL THE NEIGHBOURS SH*T UNDER IT OUTSIDE!

Rear screen seal is a commonplace route for water ingress,
Also door windows if the cards have been removed (speaker upgrade?) and the waterproof membrane (plastic sheet) not re-sealed properly.
