After many years watching the xmas stages,me & Mrs Blot have finally taken the plunge and will be sliding round Croft circuit rather than on the banking
We may finish half a day behind Mr H et al but don't bloomin well care as long as we do finish, can't wait
Nice one blot, will you be in the Renault 5; in historic class ?

Will look out for you and might enter with this next year:
Got it recently, it has historic papers, MSA log book, homologation papers etc.
I have not gone through it sufficiently enough to campaign just yet.
Will be out later this year though.

Nice looking purchase Nick, look forward to seeing it out on stages
Will be in the R5 (no 88) in subtle puke yellow and accompanying cartoon characters & another R5 is running his 1st rally too (No 86)
not bothering with historics, too much faffing about with regs for me, just want to have some fun with it....may be histrionics if Navigator makes a wrong call tho
Entered Jack Frost as well (17th Jan @ Croft)

Cleared? Dang was hoping it would still be snowy as we are well down on power.
Icy tarmac it is then

Good to say hello.
How did it go ?
We left as the snow started to fall, hope you got home OK.
Greensleeves got himself a mighty entertaining 3rd overall

We climbed up to 40th & 3rd in class after SS6 only to have an arguement with a bank of snow to collect a maximum on SS7 and miss out on our own tiny little bit of glory. Fab day, drove it back afterwards, a litlle cracked in places but nowt a bit a duct tape won't fix for the Jack Frost in 2 weeks
It was very difficult to get the smile off my face. What a rally. Absolutely slippy as buggery and perfect for a Mk 2 Escort apparently. I'm just downloaing the in-car video so will puta link to it on Facetube when I upload it tomorrow.
We had a good battle for second place with Chris Wise in the Metro 6R4 all morning. There was a line if tarmac showing through the ice so we stuck some wider tyres on for stage 5 after lunch but there was a delay of about 20 minutes during which it put about an inch of snow down so we had a very entertaining stage 5 which cost us a minute and a half, miraculously only dropping us to third where we stayed until the finish.

Good results for you,

The conditions looked interesting to say the least, glad I was spectating.
Would have introduced myself but when I came past you were either busy or there
seemed to be nobody about. Decided to get off home when it started snowing but still
was a good day out.
Roll on the next event.

Can't wait for the Jack Frost in two weeks.
Ditto
Yesterday showed we really need an LSD at some point in the future, along with an FMIC and a turbo thats at least big enough to need sealing, never mind having to have a restrictor

Still chuffed we got a finish.
Greensleeves, are you not doing the Jack Frost?

It was never planned but if it's looking like being snowy again, I'll see what I can rustle up.I have still got a couple of jerry cans of fuel left and I didn't take the edges off the tyres so it can be done reasonably inexpensively. Just need a navigator to help with the costs. (Hint)
I am not really that bothered about plodding round on tarmac in an underpowered forest car though if I'm honest. The tarmac speciallists with oodles of power just trounce all over you, and I'm not sure if there'll be any last minute entries left.

In car from Stage 1
Rest of stages will be uploaded soon. Apologies if there's any swearing. I don't own a bleep machine.
