Over the last few months, I've seen various topics discussing wether or not "the mental" is:
a) a comic saying of value
b) made up by internet types and not true, but more demeanding to women.
I wasn't sure which side of the fence to sit on, until I saw this youtube clip:

There is an ocean of difference between the tongue in cheek 'mental' as discussed on here and mentally unstable. My concern lies with the safety of the emergency service personnel and the general public involved, not them.
They should both be sectioned. End of.

I have seen that clip before, shocking behaviour, but it does seem to prove that The Mental is real.Another example to prove The Mental is real is to tell any woman that her top doesn't match her skin tone.

All motorways are numbered and lettered for ease of identification amongst responders/workers.You may know it as the M6 North, but in parts it changes to East/West. To avoid confusion the "Northbound" is labelled as the Alpha and the "South" Bravo. All motorways are similarly labelled - have a look at the side of the motorway at either the orange boxes (which may have something like 8284A) or the new Driver Information Signs every 500m (178.4, B, M6)
So to answer your question, they were on the Alpha, trying to cross the central reservation to the Bravo.

It does not end there, they where both arrested after appearing in court two days later they where released and one of them, the really mad one, promptly went straight out and murdered some poor guy in the street with a knife. Seriously, there is another thread somewhere that links to the article.
