For some odd reason the right hand side of my v8 runs cold at the exhaust pipe end. Its been like it since ii've had it
The left hand side runs warm at the tail pipe... both manifolds are getting hot so something is fireing but i dont think its firing on all 4 cylinders on the right hand side.... it does back fire from that side sometimes if you rev it under no load.
I've fitted new Plugs to all 8 cylinders, I've taken the cats out and changed the exhaust system. I have yet to change the plug leads... one looks damaged but its on the other side so i'm changing them all.

On a run out it seems fine and when you've been for a run that side is breathing hot air at the tail pipe.. but still pops abit.

not had a good dig into the proplem yet just woundering what you guys think????

If it's an electrical problem I'd expect it to miss under load - leads and coil packs both have a hard time on a Cerbera due to heat and location and are well worth changing.

Throttles not balanced?

So the hot side is doing all the work at tick over/

Try a vacuum balancing tool to see what they are doing, or just take a quick look at the linkage while someone opens the throttle. Sometimes you can see which bank moves first.

Good luck!

Hi,
Experienced the same in the first month of ownership, there was a HT lead not connected to the plug, it was just lying on top of the exhaust manifold, yet the car would tickover and would go well but it sounded angry, but through town juddery, so much for the car has just been serviced. After fitting the lead to the plug (what a pain in the arse) the car ran better but not still as good as Greg at power body shop had experienced , so lets try the old lotus test, run the car till hot then turn garage light out with car still running , and saw the 5 november display. Next step replaced HT leads, yes better again, Greg advises set throttle bodies. Went to Gregs to borrow laptop, three hours of setting the throttel bodies. The car is smooth through town and a real beast, know the throttel needs to be treated with respect, and guess what both tail pipe hot. Hope this helps you out.
