MW2 Rust

Ive been playing MW2 online for a while now, just got upto rank 41 and for the first time last night i played the rust game. Why hasnt it come up before?

Rank 52 and still not played it. Don't spend much time on domination or freeforall tho.

It's quite often used in Hardcore HQ, a great fun map but really intense.

It usually goes to the time limit as capturing the HQ is nigh-on impossible.

Reminds me a bit of Shipment from cod4, although the pipes make it less dull

Sort of map where you can spawn, chuck a grenade and probably drop someone

It's a frequent one in FFA but I've only played it once or twice in TDM. Quite good fun but bloody manic. Too manic for my glacial reactions

I actually got 4 kills in a row on that map once. Mainly because 3 enemy walked through a crate thing right into my line of fire........ But usually it's a 1-2 kills at most before you are dead...

Just tried it a while ago, mental to say the least. It cured my complaints about other maps being too large.

I love it. Infinity Ward may be making a new game type solely on Rust.

I don't like it, you get people shooting you from everywhere. I'll take the large maps any day of the week... Scrapyard is only just acceptable for me. Its not too bad with 2 or 3 people per team though.

Would pay to have Shipment included in MW2!

usually do quite well! Just pray you never get thown in a free for all on there with 3 minutes to go.. Usually doesnt end well lol

I'd also like to see shipment on mw2

i got 5 and ran out of ammo, the only option i had was to die. I went up the big ladders in the middle and just picked people off from the top. Serves me right for having a lock on launcher as my secondary weapon

Rust's a marmite map. Did rather enjoy the time I got an AC-130 though, not really much place to hide from it.

Played HC HQ last night on it and really love it.

I only played on it for the first ever time a couple of days ago. It was also the first time I'd played on freeforall.
It's a shame that it isn't used on more game modes, it's a fun little map!
