Polishing a car with Paintshield
Discussion
I have Paintshield protective film applied to the front end of my car. It is the type of film that is die-cut just short of the panel edges rather than the wrap around type.
When I apply polish I get polish residue along all the edges, like a chalky white line.
Is there a way around this? FYI I use AutoGlym Super Resin Polish.
Also unless I polish it weekly, the protective film goes milky, or opaque, and the underlyine blue paintwork is a distinctly different colour from the doors.
ANy comments or suggestions would be gratefully received.

Any wax based product rather than polish type product will be a vast improvement on what you are using, which is wasting your time in too-regular reappplication, not making the car look good and leaving too much residue.
Whatever product you use, try wiping it on in a motion from the film to the bodywork, which gives less opportunity for product to get pushed into the edge of the film.
