Morning all

Tomorrow I'm going to try to fix the problem with my stuck wipers (see previous thread titled Stuck Wipers)

Does anybody know if the park switch is an integeral part of the motor, or if it is detached? Also is it a generic part, or is there a particular part number?

Thanks

Separate part. Undo the 2 bolts holding the motor to the inner wing and lift it up. You'll see the wires going in and the detachable part (the switch). I've always got mine from a TVR place so I don't know the part number. About £7 IIRC.

Thanks, is it possible that the connections have corroded due to the fact that the wiper motor is right under the bonnet / windscreen shut line?

Needs a waterproof cover I think!

OK Fellas

On inspection, there is power into and out of the park switch. I have changed the terminals, but still the wipers won't work. So now I'm only left with the possibility of a broken motor.

Does anyone know how to disconnect the cable from the motor, as it's seems nearly impossible to disconnect it at the wiper arm end?
