GTV Heater Fan

The heater fan on my wifes 1998 GTV has developed a delayed start up, the fan only kicks in after the car has been started for several minutes. Could this be a relay, if so where is it located.

This sounds suspiciously similar to the problem I had with SWiMBO's old 916 Spider. After months of trying to solve it I gave in and she took it to an Auto-electrician.

He diagnosed a relay...unfortunately for him it was behind the centre console somewhere and a bit of a pig of a job! Charged about £70 all in

If you can find the relay...that's probably the culprit!
