Can anyone give me any advice and experience on Disco 3 Tyres. I have a 2009 and it seems very heavy on the front tyres , im at 23,000 kms and they are wearing fast, I think they will be done in another 1000 kms. The car came fitted with Goodyear Wrangler M + S 255/60/18. These seem to be expensive in Australia at around 500 dollars or roughly 200 pounds a pop.

I have had recommendations on Khumo but wanted to know if anyone had any experiences.

The car is in Australia and I guess gets quite a few Kms on the Freeway and other than that B Roads. It gets little or no off road work other than driving around the our rural block and on some gravel driveways.

Another option is to look at a wheel and tyre size change, there are a lot of 20 inch Range Rover alloys with new tyres knoocking around as people have upgraded..but again I have no experience but maybe 20 inch tyres are more available here.
Many Thanks

Steve

Afraid that in my experience the tyres you have got are the best wearing. The Pirellis are worse (and not so good in snow).
If you do buy range rover wheels then I dont see this helping with wear but you will also need to be careful that the tyres have the right ratings - the Disco 3 tyres are rated differently (112?) and the wrong ones shouldnt be used.
Try here for a more informed decision......
