Spa in late March

toying with either a March or August trip to Spa - would welcome thoughts from those who have been in March - what sort of weather can I expect ?

I've been the last couple of years in March - the weather's been as good as it's been in august, albeit a little colder. That's not to say the weather was great (it was mixed both times), but just that august is just as unpredictable.

Spa really does have its own little micro-climate being stuck down there in the Ardennes!

Neither March nor August will guarentee you better or worse weather!

One things for sure, if you havent been there, it is incredible even to look at let alone drive - its one of my aims for this year with the 944 - Get it round spa, cant wait!

There is also another new track in Belgium (which Im afraid I cant remember the name of offhand), it used to be a motorcycle only track, but has been re-configured, is anti-clockwise, and should be an interesting drive with some hills and dips to add to the enjoyment!

I'll report back if I remember the name - someone else will no doubt beat me to it though

I'm thinking of doing the March date as well. I just hope its not covered in snow.

If all goes well I should be about ready to go by then, nothing like a stern test for my first track toy hey!

A group of us our considering Circuit Days on the 2nd April at £249. Probably a couple of Caterhams, an Elise and a MGF racer. I'll post here when we book.
