Air King service price

Hi folks, I have a late 70's air king and I think that it could do with a service. Goldsmiths said they could send to rolex for me, but that it would cost about £500 - seems a lot, is that approximatley correct?

I have used perpetual-time for excellent repairs & service for Rolex. Alex Photi is a top craftsman, who realy knows his stuff. I live near Manchester, so I've dropped off & collected in person. Well worth a call or check his website.

£500, are they on drugs? I think that Rolex UK will charge around £200 for an Air-King service, to check call Rolex UK on 01322 521436.

massive thanks - will give them a tinkle. Whilst I didn't think that it would be tuppence ha'penny. I also didn't think that it would cost £500!!

Asa, Rolex are at Bexley right on the A2 at Dartford you can walk it in yourself....
