I`ve had a look but it seems difficut to get any sort of deal on travel from York to Paris - just about full fares. Can anyone recommend an agent or similar to provide a discount worth having?
Many thanks if you could advise.

What sort of deal you looking at? I went to Bruges last year and the best option was to just use the east coast mainline website and time your trains carefully.
A quick shufty at the end of Feb is giving York to KingsX for £13 each way.
Combined with the £59 return eurostar are doing and you're looking at £85 rtn, which doesn't seem bad to me.

Looked into Eurostar for a trip to Paris, the problem was that unless you live near London you can't get a train into London early enough to get the really cheap trains.

You can get the cheapest fares on afternoon trains, or is that the problem, can't get from work to London in time?

The cheapest fares where either 6AMish or 10PMish the late ones you lose a day and the early ones no train from the midlands got down in time meaning you need to book a room to get the early train.
