chassis powder coating colour

Hi just a thought , been reading on various ultima build web sites all of them interesting and also no one seems disapointed when car is finished , but one thing struck me has anyone thought of / or had there chassis powder coated a different colour then black ? ie the same colour as the car , especially around engine bay im sure powder coating can be masked , hands up to late for me as my car is on road and i didnt build it ,this acured to me as i my wife was rubbing down the engine space frame of her 64 E type jag taking all the bodged 1970s black paint off and making it ready for me to paint carmen red ( the body colour) but as i said just a thought ???
