SKS. You can get them from Wiggle and almost anybody else.

Hints: Spray the stays with black Hammerite paint. It protects them from the salt that will eventually dissolve your bike unless you clean it. Use stainless bolts and washers with copperslip in the mudguard eyes. If the frame has allen key brake fittings, place the bridge fittings between the frame and brake with the star washer still against the frame. HTH.

These are pretty popular with the guys doing some serious winter riding from the LBS. Haven't used them myself but being all plastic does mean hardly any weight and no risk of corrosion.

+1 for the crud roadracers. Got them fitted to my Specialized for the past 2 months and they're excellent. Been out in all weathers and as well as protecting me from road splash, they're doing a good job of keeping the bike cleaner too. Highly recommend them. Do a search on youtube and there's a fitting guide on there.

Another vote for SKS. Trim the stays down nice and short beyond the guards and put the rubber caps on otherwise you'll be forever catching your clothes on them.

Same here. They work well and actually look ok too. As I needed them in a hurry I picked them up in Halfords.

Good choice.

Mudguards are cool, on the right bike during the winter, or any time when it's raining. This is especially so when in a group and not covering yourself and all your mates with crud.

yep got sks 35 with extra mud flap.work a treat ,ride miles ,never get any spray up back and front keeps frame and groupset relatively clean..always rode my summer bike all year round before and had got no mud guards of any sort,even on damp roads used to get very dirty and had to spend nearly as much time cleaning as riding..better all round as when get back on summer bike seems incredibly light and responsive.
