dvd to apple tv help please

Recently got an apple tv box which am very pleased with, have used handbrake to move a dvd on to it with initial success but am struggling to repeat it, first film no issue, second one re-arranged the chapters and know they seem to be huge 9gb files that play in itunes but keeps coming up with error messages saying unable to sync to apple tv not playable, was i just lucky with the first one ? I am Using the Apple TV preset,

Or is there another piece of software that anyone knows works with Apple TV would like to keep AC3/Dolby Digital Soundtrack.

Any help appreciated.
