We (Tracie & Myself) are off to her dads to see the new year in. I have done the drive several times in the TVR but looking at the weather forecast for tonight/tommorrow i'm going to take the train instead.
Croydon to Ramsgate £74 out today return tommorrow on a train seems alot better than the posibility of no more TVR to me seeing as the forecast is sleet/snow AND freezing overnight aswell.
Never really thought i'd consider spending that on a train trip visiting family but it's only equivalent to a tank of petrol (which i'd probably use anyway)

Reading some of the threads on here since my original post i'm glad i did take the train (said that several times over the 2 days aswell).......shame other people don't do the same.

On a sad note, the nephew of a colleague was killed driving home on Sunday night after hitting black ice - this is not the time for showing how good and tough you are as a driver and put your brains into gear (not that he was - he was just trying to get home after a day with his family).
