Hi, does anyone know if i would be able to fit de-cat pipes to my standard exhaust on my gallardo?

Hi yes you can.... But you might say i'm a bit biased as im trying to sell a pair of Decat pipes on eBay!!
It really does transform the car though!!

Just wondering... what would it sound like if you took a standard exhaust and replaced the silencers with a straight pipe?

Not yet? End Tuesday night! Doing well so far!! Just found the recipt.. £505 for a couple of bits of pipe!!! lucky they make such a great noise!!

If you remove the cat, how do you go on come MOT time?

Do you refit the cats for the MOT and then remove them again?
This is what I have to do on the Caterham and it's a PITA on that, can't imagine it being easy on the Gallardo!

Also, what about insurance and also doesn't it screm the lambda feedback so you get an error light?

Just curious, I find mine loud enough already.

I found the best thing to do is find a "friendly" MOT man!! No engine management light on an pre 06 car.
TBH i found it was not so much about the noise! But more about the flames!!! Driving at night is amazing!! lol Give the car a real bit of character!! (but it does make it a bit noisy!!)

Thanks David, tbh ebay prices are a bit low at the min.... It is January being fair! They are only taking up room anyway? I'm off to Cyprus and need to clear out all the C**p!! (not saying the Decat pipes are crap!! Oh no a Geral Ratner moment!!) lol
