I am currently sitting round the back of my girlfriends house, waiting for her to return from work.

Having been in work since 3 o'clock until eleven, and due to return to work at seven am, I have the misfortune to be locked out as the bell tolls (sp?) however many times it tolls to mark a new year.
I am sitting on a cold, uncomfortable concrete floor, using the wireless network from my girlfriends house to post this. I can see my beer(s) eyeing me from the window sill above and am within 6 feet of my tea, but have no access to either.

What do I do PH collective? What do I do?

In my possession I have 1 laptop (86% battery), a wireless mouse, a rucksack (empty, except for the wireless mouse and an empty packet of batteries, the clothes on my back and my wallet. And about 17 fags and a lighter.

Any suggestions as to how I can alleviate my mood? Extra marks for ideas that include warmth!

Her phones in the house, shes coming as soon as possible but it could be a little while. Not too bothered about the new year to be honest, never really been a big fan.

Have scoped out all possible entry points, nothing really do-able, breaking and entering wise biggrin

Am still in good spirits though, it could be a hell of a lot worse, it could be raining!

Oh yeah and an hour ago it was minus 2, should I be concerned about my laptop? Im not too bad, I've got a jumper and a jacket on but my hands are bloody cold.

Failing that, the key is the brick on the left.

I was sad because I had no shoes, until I met a man who had no feet.

You were happy because you met some unfortunate person with no feet? You really are sad!

She always tells me to look under that brick, then take a biscuit while I wait...
