possible fuel pump failure ??

hi all happy new year got up this morning and decided on a bit of a drive on the a2 warmed it up nicely then gave it a blast in m mode .then on the display it said possible fuel pump failure reduced power take to main dealers anyone any ideas .

no actually it said fuel pump fault and it could stall the engine power has been reduced and to drive moderately and take it to dealers asap.im not to bothered its under warranty they can sort it.has anybody else come across this fault?

I had the same problem. waited for the car to warm up, then gave it the beans and up pops the message. Went straight to the dealers to get if fixed.

However not really driven the car since due to weather, so waiting to see if the problem has been resolved.
