They are adding a Mr Black soon, so all you will have to figure out is the weapon and the place.......................

In the american version "clue" he isnt Rev Green.
He's Mr Green.

Can't have a man of the cloth being a murderer can we.

Played this for the first time today. Had no idea (almost said clue) what was going on, had everyone telling what to do next and I still won. Still not sure how I won, but I don't really need to know as I won't be playing it again.

On your scorecard make a column for each player in the game. When you get shown a card, record it in the column of the player who showed it to you. Also record what they don't have when they can't show you a card. When it's someone else's go, pay attention to what cards they ask for and who they ask, and if they get shown a card. If player X asks player Y for, say, Rev Green, candlestick and library, and your scorecard tells you that player Z has Rev Green and player Y did not have the candlestick when you asked them for it earlier, then you know that Player Y just showed Player X the library card.

Or, if you know player X already had two of the cards in their question, then you know player Y showed them the third.

Also, record what cards you show and to whom, so if they're dumb enough to ask for the same item twice you can be sure to show them the same card twice rather than reveal another card. It also helps you to try limit what cards you've shown to everyone and perhaps hide one from the other players.

Hope that makes sense.

We played this and I won on my first turn, we'd only been playing a few minutes.

I'm not sure how I did it, maybe I missed my true calling as a murder detective.

They've introduced a black character into Cluedo following pressure from PC lobby groups. The only problem is now you only have to work out the location and the weapon.
