Evening All and Happy New Year!

Back in 2003 I had a Cooper S for a while and thoroughly enjoyed it - really great drivers car!

The girlfriend is now looking to swap out her ancient Fiesta run around and we originally thought about the scrappage scheme, however a fairly basic Cooper is still going to be 11.5k plus (with a basic spec) scrappage discount included. So I have persuaded her to consider the merits of an older Cooper S which she is keen on.

Does anyone know this particular car; http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1383476.htm Looks in reasonable shape except perhaps a little expensive given the mileage?

Thanks,
Rich

Yeah that's pretty high mileage for that sort of price, although it's a very high spec car. There's plenty of other cars out there though, so have a look around smile

Good spec, excellent seats. Mileage isnt that high for the age really. Higher than ideal obviously.

I would think about putting in an offer. Drive the car and also how did all the JCW parts. BMW? Are they from new?

Looks a nice car and about the right price give or take some haggling.

If it's a JCW install then you WILL get a certificate with the installation number etc proving it's kosher.

You'll have to keep the wheels bleached if you get it!
