Can anyone recommend a decent wheel refurb outfit within a 30 mile radius of Letchworth in North Herts? I have head of BJV in Flaunden but read mixed reviews. Pristine are an option but I think they are a little expensive. I need to get the cup 2's for my 968 CS and am really particular but would prefer to get them done by good outfit that don't give me their attitude if I need to complain!

Mixed reviews of BJV is a new one on me - I've only heard really positive things.

The only outfit I've heard consistenly better feedback about is lepsons.

I have never had any problems with BJV and had three or four sets refurbed there over the years.

Have always been spot on for me and first class job as well.

I guess these forums are a double-edge sword; I was set up for a trip to BJV and then read some posts on here regarding surly service and issues when trying to resolve a complaint from a customer about poor finish.

I've heard and seen only positive things about Lepson's but a little out of the way unfortunately.

There is a great firm in Hemel Hempstead, just off the M1. Corny Name....Max Powder, but they do top work and at a reasonable rate.

So got the wheels back from BJV today and nothing short of impressed. Good quality finish on the wheels inside and out and the wheel weights nicely positioned (Ive seen them stuck all over the shop on some wheels) and they collected and delivered!

A good price for a very good service!

I must admit to not being a fan....their customer service is not the best and the often are slow on doing work! Congratulations on getting a first class job! Any photos?
