A friend of mine is after info on some Japanese leather she once used as part of a performance costume. Salient point is, it's transparent.

She's after the name of it and, more usefully, where she can get some more.

It's a new one on me, frankly, so I'm passing it over to the PH Oracle

When I go back to work on Monday I'll ask someone in our wardrobe department if they've heard of it.
I've never seen anything like that on stage before.
