is this car also so clean and tidy in the flesh, incl. underneath and inside?
(already contacted the seller, but no really helpful info in this matter)

its overpriced in my optinion, but a friend of mine is interested and asked me to collect some infos.
ok, lets see it from another side: my friend is searching a car which is nearly perfect. cables, brakepipes, enginebay everything must look absolutely tidy and the car must be in perfect nick (technically and visually). chassis must be clean and spot on, no oil-leaks from engine, gearbox and axle (believe me its possible)!! so he is willing to pay more money for that.
so is this car representing such an example or does it only look good on the pictures?

That front splitter could be fun on the road (spped bumps and the like) and a 140bhp crossflow could be a noise issue on commercial track days, surely? It does look quite smart, but I would expect a very good Zetec/4AGE/BEC Fury for that sort of price. For an old-tech Phoenix it would, IMHO, have to be beyond immaculate.
due to registration-law reasons the car must have a date of 1st reg before june1991 and a car-engine. so no actual reg-dates or bike engines.
preferable it should be a sylva phoenix, rather than a fisher, as the body shape is different: the fisher bodies are "straigt" on the side panals, the sylva ones are "waisted" and look more favourable and therefore nicer.

@jeff...yes, i know about this matter of the different types of body and how they are named, also the confusion of the names, which happens sometimes.
preferable the car should also have 7inch headlamps.
summary:
the following car is searched:
sylva clubman or phoenix (ok, eventuellay also a fisher)
speedster screen, no doors
preferable 7inch headlamps
car-engine
reg-date before july 1991
standard instrumnetation with round dials and gauges (no digi-dash)
technically and visually in top-nick!!
