few questions for e36 m3 3.0 and 328 experts!
Discussion
Does anyone know where I can get a baffle plate for a 3.0 m3 sump? Or if they're normally fine on track with an accusump system fitted?
also what combo of discs/pads works well on a 328? Without being silly money?
the car's only going to weigh 600kg's with an m3 motor so i'll have good stopping power with the 328 brakes however I need new discs/pads.
Is there anything in particular to check/replace while the m3 engine is out of a car?

600kg? Are you sure? That is some SERIOUS weight loss off a 1400-1500kg car! My 328i weighs 1420kg so I'm deeply impressed if you can get the weight down to 600kg. You'll be fine with the standard brake set-up if you can. Pagid RS29s ( if you can still get them for the 328i ) work very well for pad choicealso what combo of discs/pads works well on a 328? Can't answer the original question but I suspect the engine's finding a new home - see http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
