Info wanted for Monza F1 2010 (Sept)

Thinking of trying to have a long weekend for this race and wondered what the best gransdtands are and any other advice for getting to from the circuit would be.

We have an appartment in Tuscany, but I think a round trip each day would be too much, even for a rental car, so also thinking about camping/hotels. Flights from Standsted to Bergamo are only £23 each way at the moment, so I'd like to book early!

All information/opinions very gratefully received.

Yes, thanks, I read this, but was looking for more detail and other experiences, especially local hotels that people could recommend.

I stayed in central Milan and got the train every day. No problem and not too pricey either. Not sure a reccommendation is essential - I just used Trip Adviser to avoid the ratholes dressed up as luxury on their websites.

I watched from the main straight and made it onto the track for the podium - best bit of the weekend! Given that Monza isnt exactly full of exciting corners, just fast sections, you're never going to see anything too amazing on track, no matter where you sit. I'd try and get a ticket close to the podium and join in the celebrations at the end.
