What is this inane radio DJ doing commentating on the arrows on the World Darts on BBC2????

He appears to know nothing. Has he been recruited simply for his regional accent?

What's happened to Stubbsie then?

& who's that long great streak of piss doing the cringeworthy interviews?

Surely the Beeb could have found better presenters than these tworolleyes

I think Ray Stubbs moved to ESPN or similar IIRC. Murray is a complete joke at presenting the darts though!

I saw him briefly when channel hopping and was a bit suprised, however I am sure I seem to remember him going on about darts when I used to hear him on radio one when he did daytimes with Edith Bowman doesn't mean he actually knows enough about the sport to present it.

I disagree there is much he has to learn....arrows is a game including elements of psychology, higher mathematics, projectile physics, the history of the game and lager.

For whatever reason, Radio 1 have been promoting the darts too, and it's embarassing. Yesterday afternoon they had somebody called Dev trying to talk about darts to Bobby George, it was just really bad.

What a prick he is. I still find it hilarious listening to him go from black street talk to almost public schoolboy in the space of a few words. What a fking plastic...

Correct. Last time I watched a game on Channel 5 they had Stan Collymore commentating as well. Christ that was unbearable!

I'll probably get pilloried for saying this, but I quite like darts. I'm not fat/old/illiterate/alcoholic but I find throwing sharp pointy things at stuff strangely theraputic. I took my board down to redecorate and never put it back up again, might dig it out, it's quite a good winter past time! smile
