Hey Everyone - Back and Ready to Rock

Hey everyone.
Ive been gone for a while. Not logged in since 30th November wooft.
First off, apologies to everyone who posted up their cars and sent me emails about me doing some free shots of their cars for them. Throughout the course of august/september I was forced out of my job and in the end unfairly dismissed which at the time of year leading up to x-mas was a right pita.
Due to this happeneing, and some other stuff, ive not been doing much car related as I have been going through the motions of going back into business for myself again.
Im opening a fully setup photographic studio in Bearsden, Glasgow which should be ready by mid to late January. I also have something else in the pipeline but not saying anything as its too early.
So as of now, im doing my photography full time. Anything from family portraits etc to weddings which im hoping should tide me by and anything else that comes my way as I dont like to limit myself.
Website needs finshed and license updated but apart from that I'm almost ready to rock. www.napier-designs.com is the site.
Anyone that emailed me im going to work back through them and get back to people but Im afraid I cannot offer it for free due to doing it fulltime but I will do it for 1/2 price as I feel that is only fair.
On another note, I sold the Evo 6 I had, and managed to get back in an S-Body which should be fun come some drier weather.
Anyway, hope to get involved in some meets/events again soon.

I'd be intrigued to see how many people take you up on that "was free, now will cost you" proposal. Not that I'd suggest anyone should actually disclose that kind of information, but I'm curious, nonetheless.
I'm going to take a punt and say "zero", as to be honest, I think it's a bit...not "out of order" as such, but a little off.
Reneging is never a good thing.

Fair enough - just strikes me as a little unethical, that's all. By all means change one's usual terms for (new) customers - that makes perfect sense given that it's now a business. But for people that one's already promised something to?

To be fair I never promised anything to anyone. I said post your cars up or email me some pictures through and then I will pic some to photograph. I got as far as getting some great choices through but considering my circumstances dramatically changed, my life got turned a little upside down, the circumstances for thses pictures had to change. People that know me know I am a genuine guy who would go out of his way to help people. I'll leave it at that for fear of derailing the thread

Sounds good. A car related one or just a social? Good pizza is a bonus, but last time was a laugh, and we did end up leaving with something like 3 free pizza's and double drink orders! ferobert said:
