This problem is common mate, its a 348/355 trait. No two cars windows will open and close at the same rate, its down to low voltage. This can be caused by weak grounding/corroding/fraying looms that are found in your doors. Think about how many times your doors are opened and closed over the years. Cure this by cleaning the contacts, plugs and connectors also i recommend using an electrical enhancer fluid on the contacts/plugs ect. So you see over time the problem can get worse and worse if not treated. Remember its Italian wiring and not German wink
Also worth knowing is there are small units that can increase the voltages to the motors, these kits are popular in the USA for the 348/355s. But even if you fitted one you may still be left with the original problem you started with because you may still have a weak loom problem due to corrosion.

Some 348 owners have got a window booster kit that speeds it up.

As the 348/355 ones are probably similar or the same, they may fit.

Heres an example of how fked up a door loom plug can look mate. This is a picture of a 348s loom plug that caused window problems. 348 or 355 same dam problem mate. See what your up against?
I always use that Stabilant electrical enhancer when ever i re do any electrical devices. Terry from CS gave me mine a few years back. He will advise you on were to get it, (he as well as Stevew are the only tec guys i have time for on that forum).

Hey, have i not just said that? rolleyes It will not matter if you fit nuclear reactors on to each door if the corrosion/connectors are bad, the problem will remain.
Now get back to ya garage and leave the talking to the men.....ya got work to do fitting MY engine in to ya car winkbiggrin

Same as the TR. Seen the kits for a TR, but I will leave mine be as it adds to the "character" of an old bus like mine wink

As Chas has said seems to be down to corrision/dampness.

where the tube joins the rest of the car there is a philips screw at the top, is there another underneath, it was very dark so hard to see but given that the hard plastic casing was on a 90 degree downwards right angle I dont know who to get to it if there is one?
