Hi All,

Finally managed to track down a leak on my power steering! It's the main pipe from the pump which runs under the engine to the rack on the other side.

Anyone know what size the pipe is before i take it off?

Cheers!

Matt

I think there are a few different racks used - so probably best to just take it off and find a high pressure pipe place .. see yellow pages etc.. PIRTEK comes to mind..

Hey Matt, hope you are well mate (and going to Wedgefest! The Megasquirted 390SE should be there)

Undo hose union on rack and drain into tray. Remove hose and take down Pirtek or your local place. Mine made a new hose with Gates Megaflex hydro hose, good for 4k+ PSI. Cost me 60 quid to have both the pressure and returns hoses made tho...

Still, better than the hose giving way and it firing PAS fluid everywhere, which may prove slightly flammable if properly atomised?

Any other projects going on?
