They look better in the flesh than they do in pics and I love them......
They also work extremelly well, better than I dared to hope when I asked Reverie to develope them for my car. They have dramatically reduced the temperature of the air that goes into the engine especially when it is pushed hard.
Yes they are expensive (and contrary to popular belief I did pay for them) but then the Ultima is suposed to be the ULTIMATE!

Does anyone have some detailed pictures of the Reverie sidepods - such that one can see the airbox connections. What is the size of the connector - 3inch, 4 inch ???? ID, OD?
Since the Reverie airbox is so darn costly - 998 pounds or $1840USD - listers will be happy to know that there is a very good alternative manufacturer in Canada. I have not bought one from them yet but they appear to make a very good fibreglass product with several options for filter height and 110 or 80 degree angle air inlet locations.

Their prices vary from $100 to $150 approximately, which is much more to my liking. Call me cheap but I just don't like spending vast sums of money when it is really not necessary.
You can also use a stock 14 inch airbox top with their system or even a pleated K&N "Xstream" top to supplement the side pod air conventionally from the engine compartment.
Now all we need is for Mark (Mkoch1) to build a competitively priced sidepod and we could save even more money.

I have picked up my airbox directly from Reverie this week and must say that it looks excellent. Real quality finish, which justifies the price they ask for it. Also the people from Reverie are great.
I have chosen the CanAm box, even though my car is a GTR. But the GTR box would be difficult to fit, mainly the top part. Main problem I have now is to find a solution for the side pods. I cannot use the Reverie side intakes, because I have an oil cooler and the air-con cooler fitted where the side intakes are supposed to go. The other problem might be that if you close the side pods completely the fuel tanks will not be cooled sufficiently (and they are very close to the exhaust manifolds), which could be even dangerous. Therefore we will develop an own solution for the side ducts, leaving part of it open for cooling the fuel tanks...
Would be great to hear your opinion on these thoughts.

Couple of points.....
The side pods do have 4 inlets each side.... two 4in (100mm) ducts inside the scoop and two slots to let the air flow around the front of the tanks.
considerably more air flows over the tanks now I have them fitted than when I had the grills on.
I only needed to use the side pods and have cool air towards the carb (from only one of the four 100mm outlets), the only time I think my car would benefit from having the air box would be when the car was stationary and thus no air flow, otherwise I think it would give no gain at all. Which is why I never bought one.

do you have a photo of your side pods (seen from inside of the car)? Would really like to see the air inlets you are writing about and get a feel for the approx. dimensions. Maybe I could use them, too. When I was at Reverie on Monday they unfortunately did not have the side ducts on stock and I forgot to ask them to show me the drawings.
Concerning oil-cooler and air-con: you do not use any of those or did you change the location of the coolers? I have a factory-build car and both coolers are exactly in the position where the side ducts should go. I think that I can move the oil cooler closer to the motor or towards the back of the car, to make place. But the air-con cooler is that big that I will have to replace it against a different type (any proposals for type/manufacturer?) and move it to a suitable place.
Any thoughts welcome!
