Can one of the more well informed help my curiosity and let me know why Lambo decided not to do any Gallardo's in Red??

Always thought it would suit the shape, theres one on Amari's at the moment and for my money it really suits it.

Was there any specific reason?

Thanks

You may not be aware that the 'old man' reputedly fell out with 'you know who' in Maranello. I have always had the impression that he took the line that 'Red' was infra dig, when he started producing his motor cars in 1963.
Only a very small amount of Sant Agata's production has been in Red, presumably by customer request.
The (eyelash) car I owned was originally in lime green with silver sills/wheels, very sixties but too avant-garde for me. I ended up with it painted in red with gold sills/wheels which seemed to meet with approval all round, and, in my view showed the shape off to better effect.
Having said that, being a contrary s-d I now have one of Maranello's dropheads in TDF blue! I just think it suits the body shape better than red.
Remember, always buy the colour you want, never what others tell you to buy!

No reason, they did manufacture red to order and there are numerous reds available which can be found on cars throughout the world.

Rosso Vik is may favourite

Yep, stretched S Class. You can see the front of it in Pic 4.

Red's nice but if you owned one I bet you'd get sick of people saying, 'nice Ferrari' as you drove past...

That's round the corner from me.

I had a quick peep in the window over Christmas, I'll be in the market for one of these later in the year. Looks good in red.
