Have seen a few mods for the 360 recently - some i like, some i don't. WHat's the general consensus on altering a few bits here and there? Was looking for views on:

- changing the exhaust for an aftermarket (actually i have read pages on this so will probably do it)
- changing the wheels for 19" 430 items
- changing the air boxes for racing carbon ones
- adding a rear diffuser from the CS
- changing the dials for Prosport CS sytle gauge faces

Have seen 3/5 of these mods on Scott's car and they look awesome (there's a thread on Club Scud about it)

Assume it makes no difference one way or other if you hold onto the original bits and change them back before sale (assuming the next owner isn;t biting your arm off for them)

IMO
- exhaust - deffo worth doing, love mine
- don't like overall ext styling of F430 & prefer original 360's wheels, wouldn't do it
- not sure TBH it gives any gain on n/a engine * worth doing at all
- nice one
- nice one

THINK THIS WOULD BE SEEN AS A GOOD POINT BY A POTENTIAL BUYER - I PERSONALLY WOULD ANYWAY!

- changing the wheels for 19" 430 items
HAVEN'T SEEN A 360 WITH 430 WHEELS, BUT I LIKE THE ORIGINAL ONES, MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE I HAVE SEEN

- changing the air boxes for racing carbon ones
NO BIG DEAL, LOOK NICE BUT DOESN'T DO ANYTHING (MUCH) OTHER THAN APPEAL TO PEOPLE THAT LIKE THE CARBON LOOK

- adding a rear diffuser from the CS
??? CAN'T IMAGINE IT'D MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE, SO WHY BOTHER? HAVEN'T SEEN ONE SO CAN'T REALLY SAY ONE WAY OR OTHER

- changing the dials for Prosport CS sytle gauge faces
WOULDN'T IMAGINE IT WOULD MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE EITHER TO YOU OR A POTENTIAL BUYER DOWN THE LINE

POST A LINK UP?

MY CAR HAD SPORTS SEATS AND AN AFTERMARKET STEREO IN IT WHEN I BOUGHT IT A FEW WEEKS AGO.
I HAVE CHANGED THE SEATS BACK AS I PREFER THEM, BUT THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAD KEPT THE ORIGINAL PARTS SAFE AND SOUND SO I PERSONALLY SAW IT AS AN ADVANTAGE ... IT ALSO SHOWS (WELL IT DID ME) THAT PEOPLE SPEND TIME ON THE CAR. ENOUGH TO BOTHER CHANGING AND ADDING BITS AND KEEPING THE ORIGINAL BITS ... ALL ADDS TO THE WARM FEELING YOU NEED TO PART WITH A LOT OF CASH.

Personally I prefer the original wheels to the 430 ones so changing them wouldn't be something I would do, but I can appreciate why that others do it.

I fitted carbon sills and interior bits to my previous F355 and thought they looked much better than the original parts and changed the original big airbag wheel for a momo one so again can appreciate the motivation for modifying the interior of the 360. Have to say, I do like the yellow rev counter but it seems too fiddly for me to do as a diy and I don't think I would pay to have it done.

Changing the exhaust... well I don't know why anyone wouldn't do that

I have also fitted the prosport Diffuser fins to my 360. It was cheap to do, I like how it looks, and it is simple to undo if needs be.

Definitely change the exhaust. I have a tubi and it is incredible.

The other mods? You could change the airboxes to carbon or sparay them, it looks fab. Also, make sure you have PROPER scuderia sheilds, not stickers and nice valve caps, dont change the wheels though.

Excuse the naf video (was a year ago will new camera), here is a 360 i have seen a couple of times in london, has tubi exhaust i think, and F430 wheels. Im not sure about other mods it has. Sounds bloody brilliant though!

They sound like tasteful mods, not 20" wheels, huge spoiler etc so i would say go for it.

Ferrari spider - if you bother to read the thread, you'll see one of the replies asked for the link to be put up as it has images of a 360 with 430 wheels plus the dials...

Sorry for the 'speal' .... but thanks for the link - I hadn't imagined the 430 wheels would look good at all, but they don't look half bad!!

Why not swap the wheels for genuine Stradale wheels (with titanium wheel nuts), IMO the best wheel for a 360.
