Sleep walking/talking/doing things.
Discussion
I woke this morning to find my laptop open on the floor beside my bed, I had left it on the floor closed and shut down after i had finished reading the days nonsense in the lounge and I went to sleep.
I am 100% sure I left it closed and with almost full battery, I hit the power button to find it would not start up, the battery light was flashing red, it was obviously flat.
Strange I thought, I must have switched it on in the night while I was asleep.
I got home from work and I plugged the lap top in to charge, I had left it here all day because I did not need it. and anyway it was flat.
When it did come to life I found it had "not been shut down properly" and "did i want to open my last session ?"
Even stranger, I think to my self, I DID close it down properly. Yes. I do want to open the last session and see what it is.
I find that Google is open with the word "Phlogiston" keyed in and the first page of search results displayed.
Until tonight when i saw the word I did not know it, I did not know how to spell it, I am stunned that I managed to sleep type it into a search engine.
I was alone in the room all night, and anyway no-one else knows my password on my laptop
I typed an odd old word Into Google while asleep.
WTF was that all about ?
Has anyone else done anythig similar ?

ph log in/on?
Ohh, I like your thinking, I might not be a mentalist, just trying to find/log in to PH.Its a strange feeling to see what you have done while asleep, I had "issues" with sleep walking when I was young, I would often wake up with things on my bed from other rooms, I woke once with a couple of saucepans on the bed and another time I woke in the kitchen and really scared myself.
The word "Phlogiston" is excellent though.
Has anyone else typed that into google to see what it is?

ked up to be honestsome years back my ex would be massively grumpy with me in the mornings but wouldnt say why.
(it was usual for her to be grumpy and to tell me exactly why!)
eventually she told me that some nights i would wake her up with extreme passion, deep kisses, probing hands etc.... and then i'd roll over and ignore her.
she was a bit made and always accusing me of all kinds of things so i said she must of dreamed it etc.
years later with a much nicer lady i woke up in a situation best described as 'imminent penetration with immediate evidence of foreplay'
i never did apologize to the ex for waking her/shunning her/saying it was in her head.
So i see your sleep computing and raise you some sleep seducing.
oh, also.. i made the mistake of telling the latter lady that i'd only just woken up in time for the actual sex. honesty is not always the best policy!

Agreed, I learnt something this evening
Probably the most interesting thing I've done while sleeping is to turn my duvet over but in such a way that the blanket that was on top of it was then underneath it, and it was all perfectly flat. I was quite impressed.
LOL I sleep walk and sleep talk, my husband can have whole conversations with me when I am sound asleep, I have no idea what I have said and luckily I'm talking nonsense.... that did make me wonder how he knew I was asleep as I can do that most days when totally lucid!!!
The sleep walking is the worst! it is very scary, my eldest brother does it too and my father has had to go and bring him home, he may have only walked a couple of hundred yards and they live in a quiet village but my brother is at least 6ft 2 and my Father about 5ft nothing.... oh and the only time I witnessed my Brother doing this I was being dropped off from a date and he (not my date) was in his underpants lol I was 16 and never forgave him

Aged about 7. Navigated myself down off top bunk. Turned right, took a left, opened door, traversed landing, correctly selected bathroom door, opened, walked in, two paces right, turned right, liberated willy and pissed triumphantly all over the radiator, with the loo directly behind me.
When in the house on my own, I went to bed turning everything off.
I woke up about 2am, and noticed a light coming from downstairs, so I grabbed the miniture swordy thing from under the bed, and crept down thiking I had an intruder in the house.
Got downstairs, the kitchen light was on, and there was a partially made sandwich on the side.
The door was deadlocked from the inside, so nobody could have got in the house, and my girlfriend was in London for the weekend.
So either a) A hungry ghost decided to make some food or
b) I sleptwalked downstairs, made a sandwich, half ate it then went back to bed, only to wake up a few hours later to discover it.
Still creeps me out to this day as I really dont remember doing it, and all the bread, cheese butter etc was out, and the utensils to make it - so I must have been down there for at least 10 minutes!

My youngest brother used to do this all the time, quite regularly I would be on the computer in the early hours of the morning and he would walk in, completely ignore me and sit down in the chair with blank glased eyes, I could sit there and talk to him and he wouldn't remember it at all.
All I would need to say was 'are you going back to bed?'
'Oh I guess I should do' always the same response.
He would then go back to bed and go to sleep, no recolection of it at all.
