Hi Folks,

Just picked up my "new" Chimaera today - fantastic beast, love it - makes my old S3 seem positively pedestrian. Unfortunately I didn't get a manual for the stereo (I guess it's the bog standard Pioneer item). I've prodded away but can't suss how you change the treble and bass settings - can anyone help??

Thanks a mill,

- Andy.

Congratulations on your purchase!!

Hope you have many moons of joyus driving!

Is it one of the bog standard pioneer units? I can't remember exactly, but I think you have to hold it the button on the top right. Changed the standard stero ages ago though!

Good luck!

Why do you want to hear any music other than what you can play with your right foot!!!!!!!!

My previously enjoyed chim came with a cd stacker in the boot, but I have never felt the need to use it. Likewise the radio. I don't care what the reception is like, I prefer the natural sounds.

Thanks all - especially Kev - got it sussed now and it sounds fine (at least with the engine off). I agree with you though Chris and Jezzer, who need music when that V8 is unleashed, fantastic!

Cheers again,

- Andy

My Wife is less than enamoured with this argument. We did an 11 hour drive last year and she spent ages sorting out a collection of CD's, put the first one and gave up once we got out of town. 10Hrs 45 Mins of me telling her the V8 is better started to get a bit thin. I must admit that I was a bit shellshocked at the other end ... ho hum.
