Headlines are

Steel Chassis
Composite (glass fibre) Body
V8 in-line (North/South)
Graziano 6-speed
Maximum 100 per year
£75k for 480bhp version
No "luxury" interior
Already a mule running in South Africa
First car here by August
Body moulds done and first bodys already out of mould in December
Business partner is named (Chris Murray) [Told you it wasn't me!]

As mentioned before 6.2l LS9 "which is good for 638bhp" and naturally aspirated LS3 for entry-level model which will give 480bhp.

And a few choice quotes
"It's further on than that car" [M600]
"We'll do thousands of miles in Africa, then bring it back here".

Closing quote from Evo

"If it goes as well as his recent efforts, it'll be utterly superb."

Most interesting is the pictures of the early sketches of the car in the full page picture.

Go get a copy (or if you are a cheapskate, turn to page 20 in WHSmith....)

Cheers Justin, just digin the car out of the snow to get to shops.

I'm in........ just need a bigger garage now. Couldn't possibly sell the 3R, maybe the Aston?

You just know it will be brilliant.

Cheers and Happy New Year,
Ian

I'm having the same problem about the M400 and the others smile

Still there is one "space" on the drive left that Nick uses to turn the X5 around in, but I'm buggered to know how I can get a 5 car garage built in Greenbelt!

Easy....I am thinking about getting another one for the opposite side of garage - quickly converts a double garage in the green belt with no planning issues wink

Amaxingly that is explicitly banned. Greenbelt + converted agricultural building is just the biggest pig in the world. Some days I wish it was Grade 1 listed, it would be easier!

Thanks Dave, but I have a slight problem. I have to get the double garage approved first! (there is no garage at the moment).

Now, back to comments about the article!

Not sure how he can say "it's further on" (than the M600) seeing that Fenix has only just built their first (test/prototype) car!

M600 is in production now

All the councils now apply this rule properly I believe. The actual temporary structure rule is that it must exist for no more than 28 days, wooden or not....

Got planning consent for mine, only took three years and a judge to sort it out though, the local council tried every trick and tactic in their book to stop me, funny thing is I cant afford to build it at the moment.

where i live you can build anything you want as long as its over 5 metres from the house and under 4 m tall

I built a stable that doubles up as a garage - its like a small bungalow ! my mum has even asked if she can live in there !
