Walking back from Waitrose earlier for a quick spot of "panic buying" (well actually we just fancied a roast this evening hehe )

Most of the pavements were covered in snow and difficult to walk on, and as the roads were quiet, some people were walking up the road facing traffic, and moving back on to the pavement when a car came within sight.

A bunch of stereotype "yoofs" decided that it would be funny to play chicken with oncoming cars, and large lorries...

They were swaggering about at one point walking with traffic behind them, and "daring" them to run them over.

I really, for the life of me cannot understand why people are so retarded now... too much mercury in the water or something...

My parents told me of a death in their home town in the snow / ice before Christmas - someone fell on the ice whilst crossing a road, unable to get up, in front of a bus that was unable to stop on the ice.

To purposefully try to do it, never mind by accident, is idiocy of the lowest kind.

Can I just ask? Did you call the police?

If not why not? If you really truly believe that they were an accident waiting to happen you should have done something.

Darwinism at its best. Just shovel the remains into the gutter and let the driver go about his business.

I was coming around a corner the other day at about 20mph on a quite slippy road.
Some people were walking in the road because there was snow on the pavement (SHOCK). But don't worry. They put out their hand and walked at an even slower pace...

Like that would have stopped a 1 ton car from sliding into them.

I swear people are morons.

Nope.

Because the last 4 times I have called them over the past 10 years

1) Drunk Driver, seen staggering out the pub, I followed them and gave positions - they were more interested in if I was using a hands free mobile (I was), and told me that there was nothing they could do

2) Yobs outside a supermarket pushing trollies into the road - told nothing they could do

3) Kids throwing stones at a neighbors house - again... nothing we can do

4) Kids chucking stuff off a bridge on the M40 - nothing we can do

So no, whats the point?

The chavs like this game when it isn't snowing down our way. Just walking out into the road when you are driving and waiting for you to have to brake sharply or swerve while they swagger on their way unphased by the utter stupidity of their actions.

One of them will get hit one day and no doubt their will be outcry from the parents of said chavs about speeding cars and people don't paying attention....

Odd. The last time I called the police (some hoodies had broken into a building site and were running round on the scaffolding), they were very good and sent a patrol car round within 10 mins.

Well, survival of the fittest.

Perhaps if all the chavs get killed off doing stupid things there will be less of them.

I was hit by a drunk swaggering chav. I had stopped, and he attacked my car. £600 of damage. Police came when called, arrested him, I was a witness at the court, he got a very small fine.
