Gaming lag

Hi all i have wifi in my home which i use for xbox live and i have no problem until the wife goes on her laptop then i get serious lag,

she only brouses internet so she isnt downloading or streaming vids,

is there anything i can do to stop this from happening?

Yes, dont let her on the internet during valuable xbox time.

Get a router that has Quality of Service (QoS) which will prioritise the xbox traffic.
